Last year, conductor Dr. Peter Haberman commissioned an arrangement of “Gloria,” a movement from Jocelyn’s oratorio amass, for The Concordia Band. Originally scored for a cappella double choir, this new version is scored antiphonally for brass, woodwinds, percussion, and harp. They will take the piece on their Minnesota tour this winter and perform the work in Mahtomedi, Waseca, Apple Valley, Kasson, Wells, and Elk River. They will then perform the work at their home concert, on Sunday February 12 at 4:00 p.m., in Moorhead, Minnesota.
